PAUL & BEN ENO are a world-famous team of father-son paranormal adventurers, broadcasters, authors and lecturers who have combined experience of over 65 years in the field of the unexplained. Between the two of them, they have investigated hundreds of cases all over the world, and they have lectured all over America and in Europe. Their Sunday destination radio show "Behind the Paranormal with Paul & Ben Eno" is in its 13th year. It airs on 1240 AM and 99.5 FM in the Boston-Providence market at noon Eastern, 9 am Pacific and 5 pm GMT. The show, which was broadcast for four and a half years on CBS Radio in four U.S. cities, has an estimated 3 million listeners.
PAUL ENO was one of the first paranormal investigators of the early 1970s, beginning while he was studying for the priesthood. His early mentors included parapsychology pioneer Dr. Louisa Rhine, Fr. John J. Nicola S.J. (technical advisor for the film The Exorcist) and legendary (though very controversial), first-generation "grandparents of ghost hunting" Ed & Lorraine Warren.
Paul graduated from two seminaries, but was expelled from a third because of his paranormal work, with about a year to go before ordination. He turned to journalism, ending up in a distinguished career as a newspaper and magazine reporter and editor. Today, he is an award-winning New England journalist, a former news editor at The Providence Journal, and the author of, or contributor to, 10 books (two bestsellers, one state history that is used in several Rhode Island school districts, and two books that are already considered classics of paranormal literature), the co-author (with his son Ben) of two books, a contributor to three other books, and the author of numerous articles in FATE and other magazines. Paul holds a rare Ph.B degree in philosophy. On top of all that, Paul served in the U.S. Coast Guard, where, among other things, he led an intelligence photographic team in the wake of Operation Urgent Fury in the Caribbean Sea in 1983-1984.
He has appeared many times on "Coast to Coast A.M." with Art Bell, George Noory and George Knapp, "Midnight in the Desert" with Heather Wade, and on George Noory's television show "Beyond Belief." He has presented his interactive programs on the paranormal all over America and in Europe. He has appeared on the Travel, Discovery and History Channels.
Paul serves on the researchers board of the Consciousness and Contact Research Institute. In 2019, he received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award for his appearance in 'Who's Who in America' for 30 years.
Paul and his wife of 38 years live in Rhode Island.
BENJAMIN T. ENO is Paul’s 28-year-old son and understudy in the paranormal. Starting in radio at the age of 16, he became the youngest syndicated talk-show host in America. A graduate of Mt. St. Charles Academy in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Ben is a winner of the 2011 Bob Fish Memorial Scholarship from the Rhode Island Broadcasters Association. A 2014 graduate of Emerson College in Boston, he holds a bachelor's degree in sound design/audio post production. While studying in Boston, he was a popular radio personality on WERS-FM 88.9.
In 2005, at the age of 13, Ben began helping his dad on paranormal cases, and became the world’s youngest internationally recognized authority on the subject and an international lecturer in his own right. His unique gifts are different from his father's, and he brings unique and important dimensions to the team's paranormal adventures. Ben serves on the advisory board of the Consciousness and Contact Research Institute.
Ben has appeared with his dad on many radio and television shows, including Coast to Coast AM. In 2010, at the age of 18, Ben was the youngest, or one of the youngest, guests ever to appear on C2C AM.
In 2016, Ben married his high school sweetheart, and they live in Douglas, Massachusetts.
